I’ve always wanted to learn to play the piano.

My editing partner is a half-blind geriatric Shih Tsu named Zoe.

I can’t whistle.

I’d love to be an early riser but my body generally has other plans. 

I am always reading multiple books going at once—a physical book, an e-book, an audiobook, and whatever I’m editing. 

I’ve been editing since 2013. I mostly edit indie romance (any number of chile peppers) but I’ve also done genre fiction and even a children’s book. 

I believe in the power of networking and lifelong learning, and I’m a member of Editorial Freelancers Association.

I am also an indie romance author (my pen name is Ruthie Henrick) and I write something true-to-my-life in each of my books. The reader gets to guess what it is.

I’d love to walk the red carpet with John Krasinski. Not only is he adorable, he is Jack Ryan, and seems like a really fun guy!

My favorite vacation spot is Maui, hands down. I love the variety in the landscape there—the beach, the mountains, the rainforest. I have vacationed there several times and if my wildest manifestation comes to fruition, I actually get to move there.
